Jennie Sandoval (the girl’s grandmother) was born in the Silvis Railroad Yards on July 12th, 1922. Her family moved to 2nd Street, Silvis Illinois in 1932. Angelina and Eduviges had 10 children altogether (Joseph, Frank, Jennie, Emidio(Matter), Tanilo, Eddie, Santiago(Yacht), Esperanza(Hope), Georgia, and Mercedes). All of the boys went off to war, sadly Joe and Frank both died overseas and are honored on the Hero Street Monument in Silvis, Illinois.
